Technology and aeronautics enabled men to fulfil their dream, but the enclosed space of the various metallic crafts proved too limiting. The insatiable desireto throw one's body into the void and float on air pushed people… out of the aircrafts!
This is somehow the starting point of the story with Meteorites. This group of friends driven by a strong desire to defy gravity began free-falling from airplanes. Yet, it did not seem enough. They wondered how it would be possible for someone who lives on the ground to experience this feeling more often. So they turned to rope jumping. It is an extreme sport that involves jumping from fixed spots using special fall-arrest equipment. This kind of equipment includes a combination of static and dynamic ropes which guarantees the pleasure of jumping into the void but also a safe return.
There, Meteorites setup the necessary jumping system and, after testing it, they train anyone who wants to experience this unbelievable feeling of euphoria born each time the jumper steps away from the rockand surrenders to the void. It is an experience they want to relive again and again, constantly discovering new locations and inviting different people to join them in this euphoric fantasy of flying.
Thus, the group selected several ground locations out of which they attempt jumps from lower altitudes and of shorter duration. A preferred spot is found within the Sounion National Forest: the so-called Chaos is an enormous crater created when an underground cave collapsed, as ink hole measuring 55 meters in depth and120 meters in diameter.
