In Athens we do not have more than forty rainy days per year. More than that, when it rains it stops after a while. The weather conditions thus, are welcoming an open-bus tour of the city! When we travel for leisure we do not want to spend a lot of time in unnecessary journeys and what we seek is to find the best way of transportation within the city we happened to be at that time.
In Athens, where there are so many things to see and to experience and where all these marvelous monuments are interspersed through the whole city, an open-bus tour is the best kind of transportation. We can feel the mild western air, (which usually exists in Athens through the year), in our faces, while we will be able to closely view all the monuments, the temples and the old neighbourhoods we want to see. We can save us a lot of time taking a single route in which all the things we wish to see are included. At the same time, we can hear all the necessary historical details about the things we will view without caring to start reading every single historical site we can find in the internet!
